"He does set us FREE!"
Our Father does know about that burden of guilt many of His children bear!
This burden is like a low grade fever, at times, and at others as a raging one!
The battle of : Why did I do that again? God must be tired of hearing me confess this sin again and again. How could He possibly forgive me? I know He saw me looking at that...and how I lusted. How can He not but get tired of me? The battle rages on as we cooperate with the enemy of our souls and the laundry list goes on and on....!
Many times we resume with greater determination not to fall again. We pray as never before, we read the Word, but alas.....there we are again!
Nothing surprises Him, and His love remains constant towards us.
All our fears, struggles, and anxieties we can bring before the Throne!
He awaits to meet us there as He has been interceding on our behalf.
He is our Perfect Priest and THEREFORE HE IS ALSO ABLE TO SAVE TO THE UTTERMOST THOSE WHO COME TO GOD THROUGH HIM, SINCE HE ALWAYS LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR THEM. (Heb. 7:25)
So don't be lazy and slow to go before the Throne today! Let the blood of Jesus set you free to worship Him in the freedom that He so highly paid to give you! Cling to His promises and know that whatever is the "challenge" --He will give you the endurance as you turn to Him for all that you need.
He won the victory and will give it to you as you endure in keeping your eyes on HIM!
Don't despair, but see HIM there, your sinless Savior and reckon unto your soul that you are free!
Praise God, Praise God, He does set us FREE!

"Birds of a Feather Flock Together"
Relationships are a vital part of life and they are also fraught with many dangers. Proverbs 4:23 says; Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. There are many relationships we cannot avoid such as the family we were born into. Never the less this holds true of them also! There are those relationships in church and work that we cannot avoid either. We are to be kind, loving, and forthright in these, demonstrating the wisdom and love of Christ. Now there are those relationships that are of our own doing. These are friends from outside and within the family boundaries. They have an impact upon us for good or evil. We alone choose our closest friends and by doing so are choosing who will sway, compel, motivate, encourage, correct, manipulate, convince, guide, and inspire us. I think you get the point.
The question is: Who are these we are choosing daily to have an influence on us that in the long run will be building line upon line, precept upon precept, or lie upon lie!!
The Scripture isn't silent on our choice of friends. We are to come from (get away from) those who exert a bad influence, and we're not to be yoked to those who's leader isn't the Lord! I think you know where to find those scriptures! God's instructions to us as His temple is to be on guard against those who would have a bad influence on us. We've heard it said many times that 'like spirits draw like spirits unto themselves'. If we're gossipers, guess what?! If we are liars....
If we love the Lord and seek to become more like Him and His holiness, well you know what follows. Another one you've probably heard is "Birds of a feather flock together". So what birds are flocking around you lately?
May His Spirit be ever more evident in all of us, even and especially when it costs us giving up relationships that are not up to His standard.
HE WHO WALKS WITH WISE MEN/WOMEN WILL BE WISE, BUT THE COMPANION OF FOOLS WILL BE DESTROYED. PROVERBS 13:20
