Years ago, the Lord impressed upon me the word, TAPESTRY. At that time I had no idea what prophetic meaning that word held. Through the years a strong desire emerged to encourage others to use their God-given talents in serving the Lord. Many times I would encourage others to join me in various musical ministries, such as visiting nursing homes or ministering at various churches. Out of this vision came "Praise Nights" which were held at various churches. Young and old would participate and it was a wonderful opportunity for many to cultivate their talents in preparation for ministry. TAPESTRY OF PRAISE events are held quarterly at Bristol Assembly of God, Bristol, PA where praise is offered to God, and His message of love comes through in a variety of art forms. Individual and group talents not only bless and encourage each of us, but bring pleasure to the "Giver" of all good gifts, Jesus Christ. I know it makes Him smile to see His children using the gifts that He has given. Sound checks for participants begin at 6 p.m., first-come, first-served. The program begins at 7 p.m. and usually ends close to 8:30 p.m. A time of refreshments and fellowship are enjoyed after the program in the church's multi-purpose room.
